Michael Patz joined KLNB’s Retail Department in 1996 specializing in leasing, sales, and tenant representation throughout the Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

Selected Career Highlights

Mr. Patz’ professional career began in 1993 with Champion Realty, Inc. His responsibilities included detailed research and cataloging retail properties in specific market areas of concentration throughout Annapolis and surrounding Maryland communities. Additionally, Mr. Patz focused on retail leasing, sales, and disposition services for developers and retailers.

From 1994 - 1996, Mr. Patz worked in CB Commercial’s Baltimore, Maryland office as an associate in retail properties. Mr. Patz specialized in retail brokerage services including representation of retailers, site selection, and representation of landlords in the leasing of improved retail properties and the sale of unimproved land.

Mr. Patz has completed approximately 600 transactions valued at nearly $1.1 Billion since joining KLNB and was named a principal of the firm November 2000. A sampling of notable clients that Mr. Patz represents include: Chick-fil-a, Old Navy, La-Z-Boy, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Office Depot & TJX Companies.

Mr. Patz graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of arts degree

Mr. Patz holds a real estate sales license in Maryland as well as Virginia, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and Maryland CCIM Chapter.
