Joined KLNB as a leasing and sales specialist, primarily responsible for the value generation through leasing up to a sale of a portfolio of 12 shopping centers. Represented institutional owners such as Peterson Companies, Invesco Real Estate Advisers, Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada, Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company and Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers in the sale of approximately $75 million in land and investment property transactions and over 1 million square feet of lease transactions. Managed the redevelopment of three circa 1970 and 1980 grocery anchored shopping centers. Represented the developer in three separate retail "power center" developments anchored by tenants such as Home Depot, Circuit City, Safeway, BJ's Wholesale Club, K-Mart, Kohl's and Toy R Us.

Associate Broker representing both property owners and retailers in the acquisition and development of commercial real estate. Representative for various retailers such as Sizzler Restaurants, Pizza Hut, Burger King, KinderCare Learning Centers, Koo Koo Roo Restaurants, Burrito Brother Restaurants and Bally Total Fitness for the disposition or acquisition of commercial real estate in the Washington/Baltimore Metropolitan area. Assisted with the purchase of over $5 million of undeveloped land on behalf of KinderCare Learning Centers. Represented landlord's such as The Weisberg Corp., Quadrangle Development Corp., Sieman's Real Estate Holdings, Schroder Real Estate Trust, and The Archon Group as leasing agent in which over 200,000 square feet was successfully leased
KINDERCARE LEARNING CENTERS INC. - Real Estate Manager, Alexandria, VA (1994-1996)
Responsible for locating development sites in Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey for the development of community day care centers. Prepared and presented investment/market analysis packages for real estate departmental approval. Assembled and managed a brokerage team for land site acquisitions. Handled all contract and lease negotiations with sellers and property owners. Worked with local zoning attorneys, engineers, and municipal planning officials for site plan approvals. Successfully completed 12 lease transactions totaling 100,000 square feet and 8 purchase contracts with an aggregate value of $3.5 million.
